In one of the most interesting, from the naturalistic point of view, the region is a veritable oasis of peace and nature.
We are in the province of Ancona, near Jesi, along the eastern side, half way from the Adriatic coast and the Red Gorge.
The area was extended to an area of 18 hectares, is characterized by an ‘unusual variety of environments that have formed over time through the intervention of human activities.
In the Reserve, headed by managing in the WWF Italy, as well as the variety of landscape and vegetation, it is easy to see animals like hedgehogs, moles, foxes, skunks, badgers, and future research projects, which are also the presence of fish, reptiles and invertebrates.
Nowadays, to visit the reserve became a ‘tangible example of how strongly anthropic sites can recover their original natural appearance and create a balanced eco system that will become a place subject to nature protection.
Visitors are accompanied adults to explore different areas of the oasis with a stop at the hides for birdwatching and for children but there are guided tours and workshops manuals of the half-day and specifications for the different age groups.
